If it's while they're on tour, then I can see them doing it to promote the album/tour etc...

I think theyd get soaked in piss. Know a few people who go to this every year and they thought My Chemical romance were too "pop" for it. I can just see them now "moshing" to who says you cant go home

More chance of Girls aloud doing download

hum i'm not sure..i think if they played on the known 'classic' rock day and started with a couple of heavy number theyd go down a treat... and lets face it there would be a massive wedge of people their purely for Bon Jovi...

I think you right Eddie about if Def Leppard can Jovi can but all i'd say on that one is Bon Jovi would cost no end more i'm guessin! and would they go down any better? although theyd sell loads more tickets so i guess that answer might be yes :S

Aloha !

Download is not going to have Bon Jovi as headliners. It's just not going to happen. What would be the point of them playing Download when they could do their own show that makes them more money and has them playing in front of their own crowd? It's not like people visiting Download will start buying Bon Jovi CD's, now is it?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Not being funny but have you seen a Jovi crowd recently? If they tookover download it would be a sorry affair, theyd get washed away in a Download crowd. Def Leppard are still very much respected amonst the rock circles, sadly Jovi are not.

If Def Leppard were still a success they wouldn't be looked at as kindly as they are now. It's hardly like they made the more credible music.

Anyway Bon Jovi will never play a UK festival, because they can draw the same numbers by themselves.

Personally I'd love a Jovi crowd at a festival like Download. It'd mean they'd lose every fight over the front row and would end up watching from the back, complaining they can't see a thing.
