me and my girlfriend are heading down, but from the north of the counrty! hopefully i may be staying either in dublin or at her cousins house which is close to the venue itselfs!


yes Kev it does hold a shitload of people, id say maybe more then 100.000 but i really dout Jovi getting that many!

A thread for an 'official' DC meetup for this gig will surface closer to the time, seems theres a good lot going to the gig! Friday night in Temple Bar sounds about right.

Well Croke was packed, and that was 80,000 or so. Punchestwon is just a big field basically, so theres less strict figures on how many it will hold. Its not like a stadium which holds 'x' amounts of people. Tickets are still onsale on TM mind you, but I'm sure the place will be buzzin.

yes exactly as someone mentioned when they played croke park it was sold out with capacity at 80,000 peolpe, so i don't doubt them getting 100,000, they can get that easily as that show has been a hot ticket over there.

It sounds very true to me, mostly all racecourse tracks are all huge with capacity over 80,000 so that number sounds about right or somewhere along that number.
