Default Help for a newbie please re Bristol Gold Circle

Hello All

I am taking my mom to her first Bon Jovi concert in Bristol and I bought 3 of the Gold Circle tickets, which I thought would be quite good. Although after reading some of the posts on here I am slightly nervous about how much she will see (we are both a little short 5" lol!). I could not afford 3 of the diamond tickets

Anyway, I am rambling ..what I wanted to ask is to get to the front of the Gold circle by the ramp that I saw on pics, how early do you need to turn up to queue at the venue? 2,5,7 hours...

Any advice greatly appreciated!

I am hoping to hear Something to believe in!

I was GC at Bristol in 2008. We got there at 4.30pm (I think just as the gates opened) and we were about 7 rows from the front. But then I'm 5ft 11 and my husband is 6ft 5 so getting a good view is not such an issue for us!!

Was at the same show and me and the mrs (5ft 0) queued for a couple of hours. We were about 10 rows back i think, and the view was incredible. Richie hit her with his plectrum, by the time she realised what it was she missed it and some lucky so and so behind her got it.

I dont know about this year as it now has a DC and no doubt the GC will be a bit bigger. I would say about 3-4 hours before gates open, that way you have a good shout getting to the front of the GC.

The below image shows that Gold Circle now goes back half the pitch...That would suggest a lot of GC tickets. You will still see fine though as you can either get to the front or give yourself some space by standing back from teh GC diehards at the front but still be ahead of the general standing etc.
You will be fine as they do not totally cram GC in
