Default help with the Tube for Wembley

HI There, very happy to see that people are trying to organiza something for Wembley, but in the meantime, I was just wondering, what time do you think the concert will end, given that it's Nickelback at 6 so Bon Jovi at 7:30, so will it finished around 10? I know it's silly but I live an hour away from London and was wondering if I need to get an hotelroom or not. Can't remember when Hyde Park had finished but it should be the same...Thanks for your help!

Last they played at Wembley they didn't finish until 11.30 or something if I recall correctly. I guess there will be more than just Nickleback as support. Jovi won't enter the stage until 8.30 approx iMO.

I am in the same situation. i live near guildford/Aldershot way.

I usually drive to Hillingdon as they have parking there plus its only about 5 stops, they always lay on extra trains. as 80'000-100'000 people need to get home.

I would worry if i had to get a main line train, for example im sure you could get to Waterloo or Paddington but you may then miss the last train home.

If thats the case then get a hotel or park at another tube station.

regarding the finishing time. I would also say around 2230-2300

Hopefully will be 2-3 hours long the show.

We did struggle with Hyde Park as they closed the tube station due to the amount of people!!!! but at wembley they are much better at handling large amounts of people. plus wembley park is much bigger station.

I hope this helps

Rich

Ah yes, that's right ... we didn't get the Tube, just walked back to Victoria ... I remember now

Wembley Park Station is tiny ... it was so packed on the way back from Bryan Adams, and that was just the arena ... this is going to be a nightmare! Think I may look into hotels

They have spent most of last year revamping the station though, so I imagine they have made it a lot larger & able to cope with large amounts of people.

Failing that, I'm not sure how far Wembley central station is, if you fancy taking your life into your own hands by walking there.

Does anybody know how far Wembley is from Lancaster Gate? Can you walk from the stadium to Lancaster Gate or it is too far away?
