Hessisch Lichtenau?

I have no idea where Dresden is, I'm not familiar with the former GDR. According to an internet route finder it's 329 km from Dresden. Dresden seems to be quite in the East. The nearest City to HeLi from Eastern Germany should be Erfurt with around 129 km distance. But i'd say that HeLi is the nearest concert city to Dresden. All other cities are more in the west of Germany.

Just found a map and ifs by Kassel then it is the nearest to Dresden...

I have to drive way more to Munich or Holland LOL. I'm lucky enough to live only around 2 hours from HeLi though. For me it's the nearest, too. I live in Hildesheim that you can see on the map, too.

Not to sound offensive but then you should educate yourself a little. It's not because of the GDR, but I think everybody should know the capitals of the federal states of one's country - and where they are.

Why? I don't plan to drive there and if I have some day I'll find out. I know in which direction Dresden is but I don't know exactly where it is and don't need to until I want to drive there.

Do you know exactly where Hannover is without looking on a map? I don't think so.

It is called general education. And yes, I do know where Hannover is, pretty exactly.
But it's ok when you know the direction and I really wasn't being offensive. I just think it's among the things one should know.
