Default Hey God to be on Setlist

Q: OBIE (It is still you ain't it)....... You think there's a chance of Hey God on the next tour!?!? The boys seems to want to play it and everyone wants to hear it so whats the story like!?!? Maybe i'll hear it in London in June or Ireland in 2011 (Slane Castle?? Maybe?? PLEASSSSEEEEE it aint just a field in Meath!!)

Anyway take care...... don't work too hard!!!! =]

p.s Tico and everyone are doing great work for the children of Haiti....xxx

A: How bout this.....its on the play list for this tour. After speaking with the guys about the fans requests they have decided to add songs they haven't played just for this tour. How bout that.......................

Another BS answer from Obie. They've been saying that since 2001. It'll probably pop up once or twice in Europe, and that'll be it.

Let me end the suspense for you. I would expect pretty much the same set list as last tour. They'll probably remove:

Summertime
Whole Lot of Leaving
We Got It Going On
You Want To Make A Memory

And replace those with:

We Weren't Born To Follow
When We Were Beautiful
Work For The Working Man
Superman Tonight

Occassionally they'll throw in Brokenpromiseland and Learn To Love for good measure.

For some reason I can see WLOL and WGIGO sticking around but I agree with the rest.

I can't see them doing much These Days material at all to be honest. It's really sad as it's a great album and the songs would go down really well, but i think it goes against the new band agenda.

I think We Got It Goin on will be a song like One Wild Night. Played every night of the tour, but when the tour is done, it might get played a couple times and thats it.

I think we'll get sprinkling of rarities like the last tour. Like 2 spots a night that go to a rotating list of "rare" songs (Box Set tracks, album cuts, etc.) for the first leg, with a few one off rarities at some shows, like Giants. Once the Euro Tour kicks in, an opening of the selection a bit, with more one offs and such.
As for WGIGO and WLOL, I *think* both will be off the regulars list, but will show up on occasion, WGIGO more often.

A big HOORRAYYY for "Hey God". Simply one of my all time favourites of this band, and when they pulled it out in Munich 2008 it was nothing short of unbelievable. Unbelievably good, I should say. I went high as a kite!

I'm positive about rarities this time. Jon seems to be realizing that fans request these songs, from all I've heard.

Obie also "confirmed" that songs from the FAHRENHEIT album are on the playlist... Not that I'm so psyched about them (with the exception of "Tokyo Road"), but at least it means the band are rehearsing songs they haven't played in a looong time. My theory goes that they wanna come "full circle" this time and represent their 25 year career? So maybe (but that's whishful thinking) at least a track from every album at every show? ...

Q: Obieeeeeeeeee!!! Great to see you again!! I was really worried because you didn't show up for such a long time! )

I just wanted to say thanks for your answers. It like the feeling of being involved and informed about what is going on in Bon Jovi world.

Now one last thing. It would be great if the guys would play songs like Stick to your guns or wild is the wind at the Meadowlands stadium in may. Could you pass that on to them?

by the way: Anything from the Fahrenheit record would be OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Greetings from Austria!!!!

A: I will pass your request along, and yes they will be playing songs from the 7800 album this tour. I had to wrestle an alligator to get them to do it so I hope everyone's enjoys the tunes. Thanks, Stumpy

Be careful here... they rehearsed "In & Out Of Love" on the las tour, at least. And they played "Tokyo Road" in 2001, so in that decade they HAVE played sth from before 1986.

S I think these two are the most realistic ones, if ever. I don't see how "Only Lonely" or "The Hardest Part" would fit into their setlists.
