Default "Highlights from the Tour"

There is this section "Highlights from the tour" in bonjovi.com. I find it funny that not a single of these highlights are related to the band's performance. The greatest moments are for example:

"Taking a shower with 55 000 of Jon's closest friends"

"The crowd in Glendale erupted in cheers as Jon announced the new album, “What About Now”, topped the album charts again!"

"Despite the torrential downpour, Bon Jovi preformed an explosive set in Vienna"

"Introducing SOFIA - stage inspired by a 1957 Buick"

I cannot help myself comparing Bon Jovi again to Bruce Springsteen and his Wrecking Ball tour. If he had listed the highlights of his tour there would have been for example:

"Played first time ever Wages of Sin"

"Played the longest gig ever"

"Played several albums entirely during some shows"

"Performed almost 100 different songs during the tour"

It just proves how useless was What About Now tour. It was all about nostalgia and gathering more money... I find this funny and sad at the same time

Any thoughts?

The crowd in Glendale wasn't cheering that What About Now topped the charts. The crowd in Glendale was cheering because Jon said "I was out here in Glendale visiting a friend, sitting in a Circle K parking lot, when I got the call that What About Now topped the charts".

This tour has had only two highlights:

1. Tico's appendix and gall bladder having the good graces to NOT self-destruct while he was performing.

2. The Cleveland show.

I honestly think that's unfair, there's been some pretty good shows (although a lot of very short, predictable, sometimes mediocre ones!)

You left out some of the most funny ones:

"Following the high-energy show at Ford Field on July 18, 2013, JBJ wrote a thank you note to the fans of Detroit" (Who the **** cares?)

"At the June 6, 2013 performance in Copenhagen, Jon invited long-time fan and Backstage JBJ member, Barbara Ansaldi, to join him and the band up on stage at Parken for a very special performance of “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” (Really? I know that made me want to become a member and buy a front row VIP package! But tour highlight, not so much. )

"In honor of Bon Jovi’s return to Happy Valley on February 23, 2013 the Bryce Jordan Center renamed the venue to The Bon Jovi Center."

"The Kings of Suburbia and violinist, Lorenza Ponce joined Bon Jovi on stage in Saratoga Springs, NY on July 22, 2013. "

Bruce Springsteen played 225 diffrent songs in 133 shows in 26 countries on the Wrecking Ball Tour. Said it just for fun

The latest tour "highlight": The apparent decision that this bonjovi.com/news item is no longer "newsworthy." I suppose that this item will disappear soon, too, since it now officially never happened. After, what's a little appendicitis attack between friends?
