Default Historic Ticket Prices

Ok I checked my stubs to see what tickes have cost since the first shows we saw back in 87'.
In general I like an arena show better than a stadium becasue the sound is usually much better and we would rather see the action closer and spend a little more than be with a billion screaming, bouncing fans a million miles from the stage.

I listed the dates, general seat locations and price per ticket.
If it says "$35.00" then that is the admission price printed on the ticket.
If it says "$37.21 total" then it includes the printed fees from the ticket.
During the heyday of seeing shows from 200-2003 we paid scalpers for many tickets, those prices are only listed if the event or ticket had no printed price. ALso I can't remember exactly how much the 10th anniversary bash tickets cost.

You have to take inflation into consideration, but still, they are high. $23.5 in 1989 is about $40 in 2009.

You say historic ticket prices, but I would think every artists in the worlds ticket prices have highered from tour to tour.

I paid £30 to see Muse in 2007, they are now £50. I only paid £25 to see The Strokes on their last tour, and for their gigs in Australia this summer tickets are £50. It just happens.

I did this recently going through my ticket stubs over the years. It's been so long I had forgotten. When I saw 17.50 on one, I was thinking it was the service fee and scanned the ticket for the ticket price.

You all are showing your age

I've never known such a ticket price especially for that close to the stage.
