Bobby Bandiera is bringing Hope Xmas shows back to Count Basie on Dec 19 2011
Hopefully Jon and Bruce will be there too as in previous shows

I already have tickets and I'm hoping for a Bruce sighting. I need some Bruce music.

Would an appearance by Bruce or Bon Jovi be announced, or would it be a surprise to ticket holders?

Some years it has been announced ahead of time and (I think) some years it has been a surprise.

I don't think Bon Jovi (the whole band) has ever shown up - it's usually just Jon.

Last time in 2008 Bruce was a surprise guest
It is mostly Jon if i remember correctly Southside Johhny
also was a guest at last hope concert

Jon and Southside have played at all 4 Hope Concerts that have been held (2003, 2006, 2007, 200. Bruce was at all but the 2007 one. According to the stories I found, he was on tour in Europe until just a few days before that show. I'm going for the first time this year. Can't wait!

Damn. ****. I happen to be in New York on that very day, but didn't find out about this until this very moment. The only tickets left now are the $500 ones.

Anyway, if somebody (tentatively Kathleen or Terri) hears anything about spare tickets, let me know. I've always wanted to go to a Christmas show in New Jersey.
