How Cool Is This ~ Opening Act

I think it is a great idea! Of course, I am going to be cheering for a local band, Salt of Society to win here. They won the battle of the bands concert here a couple of months ago and this would be an awesome way to get exposed to new fans.

I think it proves that Bon Jovi cares for it's fans and this is one way to give back to them by giving them a chance to open for them.
Sure, it was awesome to have a great band like Goo Goo Dolls open, but their is a lot of good local talent that sometimes just have not gotten the break they need to show how great they are.

Not cool at all. Opening act will be a band that noone gives a shit about.

They did this in Manchester in 1996, needless to say the band were shit, luckily though Skunk Anansie made up for them, they were excellent, as were Jovi on the day. My favourite show by them ever.

They did this ealier. Most of the times unfortunatley the winning bands were crap.

Haveaniceday, when BJ started as support they were nobodys either. I like the idea that they give bands the chance that they had earlier when they started.
