How has this being going so far in Europe? Has it been well organised? I'm talking about picking up the tickets booked through Backstage, who were too tight to post them!
I'm planning on turning up early, like 2 years ago. I was thankfull I did last time in Dublin as we got sorted but it seemed like organised chaos for people come afternoon time further down the queue.

Is it well sign posted? Presumably its a case of queuing up, showing your ticket confirmation and getting let in early?

There is info on backstage....they have a special flag so you know where to find them
And they are doing their list again this year so you gotta go get a number and apparently Matt likes the list so he is using it as well.
It seems to be going ok, no complaints as far as I can tell
And FC members with GC tickets (but not FC GC) are getting in half hour before the GC ticket holders
And you need ID as well as your ticket confirmation

Cheers for that...better use my driving licence as my passport was sent off for something else. Do they need ID to check your name (& photo?), as my driving licence has my parents address on it rather than mine, its years old!!! I'm probably being stupid, but just wanna check I'm covered!

It just says legal ID - (Drivers License, Passport) & copy of the confirmation
If you have the confirmation & photo ID they cant really not give them to you...

All they wanted to see until now was the passport. On their list there only stands the names of the ones who ordered the tickets.

I've picked up tickets in Leipzig. I had no problems at all. I came just before 3pm, found the table with the tickets, I'm sure you'll notice it without any problems, a very friendly girl appeared from nowhere and explained me how everything worked and has given me my number in the queue and at the ticket table I didn't even have to show my confirmation e-mail, my ID was enough. Everything has worked really well and very fast (picking up normal Gold Circle tickets in Milton Keynes in 2006 was a nightmare) . Just the security guy has taken all 3 of my 0,5l plastic bottles with water, but he didn't take away my camera which was the most important thing for me

never even checked my id,just said sign at the side of my name, took about 5 seconds to give me my tickets and wristbands, the fc thing is well organised in co-operation with the fans numbering system.i thought it would be a huge cock up,but it was great in BCN and FRA.

I hate the new FC ticket system. I wanted to go to Cov and Manch but I couldn't get any FC tickets. Lack of up-front info ment the FC tickets were sold out before I even knew they had been on sale. I didn't re-join the FC, there was no point.

As we are taken care of that couldn't get FC GC tix I'm alright with this system. I don't need to be up in front row.
