Thumbs up How is this for useless?

I wanted tickets yesterday morning at the presale for Atlantic City. By Thursday night I had not heard from the main site about any password. I sent out a bunch of pms and no one else had gotten it either. There was indeed a presale and I did get tickets but only because a blogger put a radio station password on their website and I searched enough to find it.
Just now - not even early this morning - I got an e-mail from BonJovi.com giving me the password for yesterday's presale - do they even want to sell tickets?

Kathleen

They COULDN'T care less. The shows sell out very quickly whenever they go on sale so there is really no incentive for them to stay on top of those things. Sucks though. Hey, at least you got tickets. I'm sure a lot of people who wanted them didn't get any.

note from goose; ITS COULDNT CARE LESS. NOT COULD CARE LESS.. THINK ABOUT IT FOR A ****ING MINUTE!!!

I know how you feel, Kathleen. I got the presale information from a Toronto radio station way before Bonjovi.com sent the same info. Just makes you wonder who the hell is running the show.

Am I the only one thinking the whole organisation of this tour is a mess? I mean, dates come in in batches instead of an entire tour schedule. Pre sale with secret passwords golden circle, Wembley-No wembley-yes wembley......

I agree, it is such a mess. So many people are waiting on dates for their areas, countries etc. And if they dont announce in your particular area you then have missed out on organising tickets, travel to go to a show somewhere else. I have a friend that wanted to go to Japan after we were told no dates in Australia. There are rumours that they are coming to Australia, Japan hasn't been released yet, so she doesnt know what to do. Wait for Aussie dates (if they do), wait for Japan dates (not knowing if they are coming here) or just go ahead and buy tickets for somewhere in Europe or the USA. She may end up spending 1000's of dollars, when they might be playing so close to where she lives anyway.
Wish they would get themselves organised soon.

Well I just got the email for the presale for AC and it was sent out at 2:11 AM today. Yup, that is sure helpful for those who wanted to go.

They suck. It's like when you get an email alert about the band being on TV 30 minutes before the show. Yeah, thanks alot.

Like others have said - They don't care. The shows sell out anyway. It would be better to send nothing at all as opposed to looking incompetent.

Like Mouse, I just got mine this morning...good thing I had no intentions of coming up to see the Atlantic City show!

And like Stephanie, I got my presale for Atlanta from a radio station well before the email came to me from bonjovi.com.

Why bother anyway...it's not like I got better tickets from the presale then I could have gotten with the general sale.

I got presale tix for the Chicago show (that i went to about a week ago) assuming that "presale tickets" would mean that they'd be good seats. They weren't. the jackass next to me waited till the LAST minute to get tickets and they were just as good as mine.

It seems like this tour is a spur of the moment kinda thing for them. What's the deal? They've been doing this long enough.
