Question How long it will take from central London to O2 by tube?

Hi, I've just decided to do 2 shows. I haven't booked a hotel yet, but maybe I'll book a hotel or hostel or B&B or youth hostel in central London. Does anyone know how long it will take from central London to O2 by tube and how much the fare will be?
Thanks in advance!

It depends from what do you mean with Central London.. For example it would take about 20 minutes from King's Cross station.. BTW you can check the www.tfl.gov.uk website to plan your route and for everything you need to know about the transports in London

Also check out the planned engineering works for the dates you are there.
They have a lot more planned on the weekend days rather than the weekdays.

How does it work if there is work planned, delays or another mode of transport needed?

I think for some routes there maybe bus replacement services.
I gotta say though the staff working there at all the stations are really great in helping you out if you are not sure where to go.

Sometimes it also easy enough to just take a different line on the tube to get where you want to go.

If the Jubilee line is not working then the only way to get to the O2 is either by DLR (and then bus) bus, ferry/taxi boat and/or car as the O2 is not served by another tube line.

Boat is the best option really as it literally stops outside the O2.

DLR is possible going to Greenwich and then there taking one of the buses going to the O2. That ride won't take more than 15 mins on a regular day but if it is a weekend day well that could be insane.
