I think it's confidence. It's like the solo tour has made him much more confident on stage and he has brought the frontman in him over to Bon Jovi. Not only does he seem energetic and less lazy, but he is also sounding very impressive too. It's almost like he's woken up and started playing and sounding much better than he has over the past few years.

I'm hoping he keeps this up and that Jon wakes himself up and becomes the frontman he is because I think we will be in for much better shows that way. Especially with the setlists being the way they are.

It's 3:05 that always gets me. You can hear old Jon in those notes.

Amazing performance. Up there with Chile '90...well not quite but still incredible! I have no apprehensions about Villa Park from what I've seen so far, set list or no set list.

nothing really happens at 3:05.. u sure it's not elsewhere ?

you probably meant around 3:45 ? even Richie has the biggest smile on his face. It's not uncommon to see Richie giving his pal Jon the thumbs up whenever he reaches a certain note.

At 4:34 Jon's facial expressions - that is an 80s facial expression not seen that much anymore

This is a Richie we haven't seen for awhile. And Jon seems to be getting into it more now.

I'm pretty sure Slane is gonna be epic.
