They are promoting a review which states;

"So seamless was the music that few in attendance noticed the absence of legendary guitarist Richie Sambora – who it is rumoured had a falling out with Jon Bon Jovi on the eve of this tour."

No attempt to correct it so are we to presume it is fact?

i wouldnt presume anything as fact. they just posted an article someone else wrote....take is as that, someone else wrote it, not them. no need to look so deep into every word written. if someone on here told you yes would you believe it and be satisfied with it? no, you'd still wonder what actually happened. let it go until we hear something, if anything ever.

Doesn't matter. If they cared so much about Richie being gone, they wouldn't post a review that says he's not even missed. If nothing else, its more bad PR.

I really doubt they care if Richie is gone or not, it's a site controlled by Island records, its employees don't need to be Bon Jovi fans to care for a site....

Exactly.

I wasn't saying that it must be fact, but that a lot of people will take it as such.

You would not get such stupidity if The Edge had been missing in action, or an other lead guitarist.

I didn't think it was controlled by Island, I might be wrong... artists normally have a team who control their websites, don't they?

I seem to recall Matt saying how he brought in Sparkart and worked on a tight budget to overhaul everything. I can't see Island being in control of every artists website, the return on investment would be ziltch...

From what I understand bonjovi.com is run by the record company, Island/Def Jam and the fanclub website is run by Sparkart, a third party organization that runs a few artist's fanclubs. I know interns are usually given the job of updating the bonjovi.com so that's probably why the article wasn't vetted thoroughly.

That'd make more sense, yah. This is the site that has the wrong lyrics for Army of One and hasn't even updated it to include all the new songs.
