That is kind of strange. I just read on Ticketmaster.com that they are playing in Philadelphia PA. on March 7. Philly and State College are kind of close in proximity(sp?), so I'm wondering if it's possibly March 8 instead of Feb? We'll find out SOON. YAY!

Yeah but I think the Jon Bruce comparisons are more negative. It's more "Jon just copies Bruce" blah blah where as the Jon Johnny comparisons are more "Wow don't they look alike!!" more postivie

I've read stuff about Johnny of GGD not liking always being compared to JBJ because of their similar looks. And, recently there was an article posted here that I read where Jon commented about the GGD saying that "If we were the GGD we'd be getting tons of airplay" or something to that affect. Not saying that they hate each other, it just seems to me that they don't like comparisons to each other and such. Maybe it's just me being overly sensitive about things people say about my two faves.....????? Trust me, I'd be in heaven if I got to see the two of them on the same bill together. Jon and Johnny in one night for under $50. What a deal.

The Goo Goo Dolls have done ok in Australia without being huge, so when they were playing at a festival in Melbourne a few weeks ago, I didn't expect much from them, but I was REALLY impressed. When they began to play Black Balloons, a heap of black balloons were getting knocked around by the crowd, it was good fun!

Yeah, having just seen them live, they'd make a great opening act.

Good, glad to hear no Goo/Jovi controversy. I saw the Goos on TV at the Concert for NY and they covered a Tom Petty song- American Girl as well as one of their own songs and they were great. Can't believe they did not put American Girl on the album of that concert, it was a highlight. Goo Goo Doll fans in turn who haven't seen Bon Jovi are in for a treat.

I'd be seriously stoked if the support act was the Goo Goo Dolls...that'd be awesome! Saw them once years ago, and it's high time for me to see them again!

The suspense...it's almost killing me!
