he came back to gloat that He, the Almighty, said the setlists were brilliant (when in fact they weren't) and now people aren't complaining as much. the fact that the tour has reached another continent and they've started mixing it up a bit means nothing to him and, as tom pointed out, he didn't actually bother to read the reviews which pointed out the negative points.
