that will suck if they stick to that... especially considering the hype

for example (if it IS true)

this is my proposal:

Bon Jovi London Hyde Park
28 Jun 2003
Doors open 4PM
First support 5PM - 5:45PM
Bon Jovi 6:30PM - 10PM
Curfew 10PM
Support TBC

why the **** do we need so long between gates and 1st act...? ahhh so we buy cheap quality rubbish: merchandise, food, beer...

and then why so long between support act and main act? ahhh so we buy cheap quality rubbish: merchandise, food, beer...

and why have a support act at all?.... ahhh so the proceedings can be delayed over a longer time-period so we buy cheap quality rubbish: merchandise, food, beer...

Especially if there's even just a slight problem that delays it. It shouldn't because the change-overs aren't rushed, but the band are a little late coming out because of traphic, or there's a problem with something, or it just takes them a little longer than expected. There are a lot of thigns that could go wrong.

At least it's a 2h30 set.... That's one thing, and they could always cut down on the time they spend backstage between encors.

I'd have though the curfew would have been more 11, but then it's a lot of people to get out at 11, so maybe that's why it's early.....

i.e I'm guessing if it finishes at 10, the area will be cleared at about 10:30ish at the earliest.

another reason that would piss me off is because (even though i'm not paying) i could have just gone back to Oxford after the show rather than waiting until normal services run the next day again

Question:
Hi Oompas, I know BJ will not take the stage at GS until 8:40 or so..I was wondering, I know in some venues there is a "curfew". Do you know if there is one at GS? I am so hoping for a 3 hr gig like in Europe... Thanks in advance.

Answer:
There probably is. But it's not an unbreakable law. Don't worry about things. Try to just have some fun.

Someone said 10:30-10:40, though I'm not sure what time the show started.

The curfew for all outdoor London gigs is 10pm. But most ppl who play outside will always do longer. they incur a small fine for doing it, but as they get wrapped up in the atmosphere, they dont care really so hope they carry on past 10pm
