Default I Got Tickets For The HAND Launch, Amsterdam!!

I am sooo beyond excited, I just need to delurk and share! I actually managed to get two tickets to the HAND Launch in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam for September 16!!

I was sitting at the computer, ready to order, an hour early, because the www.TicketMaster.nl website has a tendency to go down whenever a lot of people logon to buy tickets. So I had the page ready in front of me, and 2 seconds past 10 I clicked on to buy 2 tickets, wishing it wouldn't spit up an error message and kick me off the site. Someone must have heard my prayers, because I went right through to the Payment Details at www.bill.nl, and had a confirmation of bought tickets at 3 minutes past 10!!!! *jumps up and down*

The TicketMaster site went down a few minutes after that, and when I checked it around 10.30, it gave me an error about the tickets already being given out - which might mean that it's sold out already?

It's my birthday on the 17th, so this concert on the 16th will definately be THE BESTEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!

Anyone else here managed to get tickets this event?

Yeah, that's where I was lucky. I live in Ireland, but I'm Dutch, I have a Dutch passport and I still have a Dutch bank account, so that's why I could sign up for the Bill.nl account. Totally sucks for everyone else in Europe though - I was just lucky!

Stop bragging about it then there are plenty of dutch people (like me) who didn't got the tickets and they were trying to get them.

Big discussion about this; I managed to get tickets and I'm from London;; now there's a concern that they may cancel them as ticketmaster screwed up (big surprise there eh?!!)

I'm not bragging!

I'm just sharing my luck and seeing if anyone else got tickets. Jeez.
Whenever other people got tickets for things in the past that I didn't get tickets for, I was still interested in hearing how they got on, etc.

No way, lucky you!
Crap if they'll cancel them though - that would suck majorly!

How did you get them from London then? Via the TicketMaster website as well? But didn't you need to have a Bill account to pay for them? That's how I paid for mine, anyways. Although - on second thought, I think there was an option for paying via normal credit card there - if I'm remembering it right.

Source from the Bill-site:

ATTENTIE:

Attention:

Due to a technical failure at Ticketmaster.nl something went wrong with the presale action for the Bon Jovi tickets. There are a lot of tickets sold to non bill custumors. TIcketmaster will tell them that their order will be cancelled and those tickets will be sold again to bill customers, tomorrow.

Damn, TicketMaster really do suck. The amount of times they've screwed me over, it's not good.
