Default I guess Jon doesn't check his tweets

This isn't technical or anything, but after Jon requested us to tweet him what we want to hear, by going on the responses here, a total of 30 different songs were requested by us to Jon. After 3 shows, they've played 4 of those songs.

Thanks Jon!!!!!

Jon doesn't know how to turn a computer on, I bet it's his PA who tweets.

For a band that always takes a while to get warmed up on tour unfortunately, they haven't done poorly but it's the reason if my city was one of the first shows, I would never go.

I'm pretty confident that more rarities are to come.

Yeah I'm with Alana here. They are not going to blow all the rarities in the first few shows. They have to work up to it LOL

I guess between here and Backstage he (they) have had thousands of requests. They are never going to play more than 2 or 3 per show, so i think it's pretty good going so far.

If you had told me a month ago that Bon Jovi would even consider playing Roulette for example, i would have said 'and pigs might fly!'.

But suddenly we are in a situation where they have played Something for the Pain 2 nights in a row and some are saying this is repetitive shit! lol. Got to love internet message boards!

It is repetitive. Big deal, they're playing 1 song they haven't played in a while. How about dropping shit no one cares about like We Got It Going On or Lost Highway and playing Good Guys Don't Always Wear White or I Believe.

2 actually, and thats better than last tour. I'm all for a whole night of Boxset songs believe me, but They have to please everyone. God knows why, but arena shows are too short for more rare ones.

Let's say they do that and play Good Guys and I Believe in the same spots a few nights in a row. Then, we'd be right back to where we are now. People would be complaining about how they are only playing 3 or 4 rare songs.

Well... It's a question of realism. You have surely followed the band enough to know that half a dozen or so "not played in years" songs in the first handful of shows is a Good Thing. That a week ago, would have met your highest (realistic) expectations.

Whining just ain't that pretty.

Here's the thing:

They didn't just say they would be playing some stuff that hadn't been played in a while. They said the show would be different every night. So far, it has been the same, except for 2 or 3 songs. They know damn well what the die-hards have been pissed about the last few tours - The fact that the concert has turned into a more of a staged Broadway musical than a rock show. Why open the show with the same 5 songs? Why close the show with the same 5 songs?

And as others have said, it doesn't seem good that they tried a few oldies the first night, then dropped them.
