Here's the thing:
They didn't just say they would be playing some stuff that hadn't been played in a while. They said the show would be different every night. So far, it has been the same, except for 2 or 3 songs. They know damn well what the die-hards have been pissed about the last few tours - The fact that the concert has turned into a more of a staged Broadway musical than a rock show. Why open the show with the same 5 songs? Why close the show with the same 5 songs?
And as others have said, it doesn't seem good that they tried a few oldies the first night, then dropped them.
