Default I love Jon but....

he's no Richie Sambora when it comes to guitar! (Not that he needs to be though). Anyway, here's Jon's attempt at the guitar solo in I'd Die for You in Manchester.

And you thought Bobby was bad...

How I hope Richie is back to playing all his solos when they head back home.

And I'm a little confused why is it that Richie is only playing some of his solos? Isn't Jon and/or Bobby also doing the solo in In these Arms too? Can a guitar person help me understand this? Like why would Richie not be able to play those solos but can do the solo in DC?? Or are the other guys doing it just to give his arm a break? Just curious..

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

IDFY - obviously a trade-off for richie doing IBTFY and the second verse of wanted
ITA - bobby's done it all tour. i suppose it's nice for him to talk centre stage for a few seconds during the show.
HAND - i'm guessing the double neck is just too much strain on his shoulder.

It seems that Jon is playing the solo in I'd die for you and Bobby is playing the solos in In these arms and Have a nice day.

This shouldn't happen specially when HAND is the bands most recognizable song AROUND THE WORLD from the new album, so it should be played the way that it was intended.

to be fair to bobby, he is playing the HAND solo pretty much as it was recorded (or did the other night).

just brought myself to see it, that actually wasn't to bad, he should do that at the end of the song as an outro and let Richie do the real solo where the solo goes.
Just to change things around a bit I think that could be a really good thing.

no! As somebody wrote on youtube already, he shouldn't be allowed to play solos again. I remember him playing the outro for Rockin' In The Free World in Imola and that was just pathetic. Spoiled the surprise-opener!
