There's just no flow in his playin...it just doesnt seem to come naturally to jon as it clearly does with Richie....if Richie can pull off the solo with his injury which im sure he can if he's playin other solo's i really do reckon he should let Richie take over on all guitarin solo duties...

Excuse the ignorance here, as I was very very young during the 80s, but wasn't Jon a better guitarist back then. I thought he used to play a lot more guitar during concerts back in those days.

Jon must be envious of Richie's great musician capacity....... I mean Richie is a guitar hero and the guy can also sing better than lots around. So let's take some solos from Richie, otherwise he will shine ****in more at the concert !!

That's an odd conclusion to jump to since Richie's been singing IBTFY most of the past two tours and he's been randomly taking the 2nd verse in Wanted for years as well. I don't think it's a trade-off, but a way to lessen Richie's load and/or do something different.

Do you really believe that? Seriously?

It boggles the mind the conclusions people reach--Jon is jealous of Richie so he "takes" solos away from him?!? Please, Jon knows Richie is a better guitarist, just like Richie knows Jon is a better frontman. Maybe Richie just needs a break every so often in the show, which we all can appreciate more than them cancelling the tour until he's fully healed.

Amazing... the theories fans come up with. I think you're all watching too many lame soap operas.

Next on n The Bold and the Bon Jovi.... Jon concocts yet another evil plot to steal the spotlight from the band; Richie dives further into addiction; Dave faces harsh reality at the salon; Tico meets his next young model wife; roboHugh malfunctions and sparks fly backstage. Will this be the end for the band? someone cue the theme song...

OH MY GOD. You've joined in on the robo-hughing. How great.

Great responce. This was just something to lighten Richie's load a bit. Some of you should write mystery novels.

Joined? LOL My friend Colleen and I joked with each other that they kept him a box until showtime back when we first saw him live in 1995. There's just something about Hugh... it's easy to make the robo connection. LOL

Oh DAMN. I thought this new "Robo-Hugh" trend was Bongo's doing. I had no idea other people were saying the same things. That is funny.

I hope by "harsh reality" you mean "the harsh reality that his hair is so gorgeous he will be forever doomed to being better than everyone else on Earth"

(I like my little world of delusion, dammit)
