I know a guy who used to play professional sport over here and he pretty much regurgitated the same lines in all his interviews. I don't know if anyone noticed or cared since the audience was obviously a lot smaller than it is for Bon Jovi. But I interviewed him once for an assignment and he actually said "Well, off the record, this is what I really think *insert something potentially controversial*... On the record, this is what people want to hear *insert something positive that makes him sound good*". The point is, most interviews are pretty standard PR exercises IMO and are best read that way. There are some with more unique questions/answers that could be used to learn something about the band, but that particular one appeared to be a routine "So do you still enjoy it after all this time?" interview.
