What about Gotthard open for Jovi, just like in 1995 in Switzerland . That would be top of the top.

When Dashboard Confessional opened for Jovi at last year's North American arena shows, the only song the crowds cared about was when they covered Summer of 69. It went over great . . . unlike the rest of their set.

well Whitesnake are touring Europe in June/July and i think they're touring the UK in June. not sure of the dates though. if it's either them or Def Leppard there is no way i can avoid going

It won't be Def Leppard as they are touring the US and Bryan Adams has his own tour planned at the end of the year so that seems unlikely too.

Would've been great if either were around and willing to do 2nd billing for the UK tour!

It's none of the bands listed in this topic. And it's still surprising me that people honestly think it could be Def Leppard, Bryan Adams or Whitesnake.
