There seems to be a lack of new songs in these sets, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I've come to accept that we get what we get. Greatest hits with maybe one 'rarity' if you're lucky.

Still too much Lost Highway nonsense for my money. What the hell is that all about?

I would still go because apart from a few exceptions I like all the songs on the set lists in varying amounts, like others have said they are Bon Jovi songs and I like Bon Jovi.

Am I happy with the set lists so far? It is tough to answer because I guess I am more annoyed by the quality of the performances than I am the set. If Jon was nailing it on even the weak set lists I would probably love the show because I like 90% of the material.

If they played my dream set list but Jon was on autopilot I would still find it a shit show. I can sing Good Guys Don't Always Wear White terribly myself, I do not need to pay JBJ to do it for example. I would be more likely to skip a show/s if they continued to put in abject performances, but never just for a set list.

I'm just calling it like it is. Message boards are like Survivor. The producers of the show don't want the person who pisses everyone off voted off the island because it makes good TV, thus bringing in more viewers.

You can't 37 as your profile shows. You sound like a stubborn child.

Also, the poll is B&W. The "Yes" answer says "no matter what", that doesn't really cover the array of answers someone would expect from anything but a computer.

Yes, but I'm a young 37.

I'd still go for a ton of reasons. Outside of still enjoying the songs, it goes back to that sports analogy. Even if my team isn't winning I don't bail, it's a loyalty thing. Granted it would mean cheap seats but I'd still want to go. Plus, I want to see and hang out with my friends working on tour.

Jon should definitely take a look what Bruce is doing right now on the tour. I've seen the boss twice on this tour and next week I will see the third time. You never know what is coming up when Bruce is on the stage. Yesterday he played entire Darkness on the edge of town album and day before the entire Born to run album....

Do you think Jon would ever do that? Play entire album on one night?
I know he played Lost hightway album in New Jersey years ago, but that doesnt count cause they played like ten shows there...

Jon's fanbase is not Bruce's fanbase.

I think very unlikely, but if they did... It would probably be Lost Highway!

The set lists from this tour have been very disappointing though, it just seems to be same, same, same every night. The structure of the sets is more predictable than ever before. The lack of WAN songs is baffling too (though maybe a blessing, he'd only go and pick the wrong ones!) Bruce may indeed have a different fan base but if Jon would show a fraction of his imagination we'd all be on to a winner.

I'll try to remain optimistic though and hope things improve for the next leg. They have it in them- only 2 years ago we got 'Wild is the Wind' 'Something To Believe In' and 'These Days' in the same set.

There are tons of songs I wish they would play...but at the same time, when that one day rolls around every 2 years or so that Bon Jovi comes to town, it doesn't matter. I've been to four shows, and was lucky enough one of those times to roadtrip it to a nearby state to see a 2nd one on a tour. Aside from Dry County most recently, I've never gotten a super big rarity or tour debut or anything. But the Bon Jovi shows i've been to have been some of the best concerts I've been to. Even with the "static" and "American" setlists (Seb knows what I'm talking about), the shows have been awesome. Of course I'd kill to see Hey God, I Believe, These Days, etc. It would be breathtaking! Dry County this past April was the best and was such a surprise. But even getting the "standard" setlist, I couldn't have been happier with the Bon Jovi shows I've seen over the past 6 years. Even though there are those songs where I'd rather they skip (Born to be My Baby and IBTFY come to mind. I've seen Whole Lot of Leavin four times but I love that song).
