Default I'll Be There For You

Richie's voice is amazing...

i mean i know we all know but it's been 5 years since he last sang on this song as far as I know

it's a great song with Jon singing but I love the bluesy version of Richie's! Shame Jon doesn't do Richie's vocals part too though - that really would be something!!

me too with the exception of the scream!!

I don't think the album, 1988-91 version can be beaten but with the state of the vocals at the moment Richie is the better person...

but on NJ tour Jon really hammered every note - great to listen to!

I personally think (indoor) arena shows these days are where the band shines best - plus it always looks much more dramatic in the dark

I really like the version with Richie singing too. I was a little uneasy about it when I first heard that Richie was singing one of my absolute fave songs. But, after hearing the Osaka show, I feel much better now. I do miss the harmonies between Richie and Jon on the song though. I think I'll survive though.

I might be the only one who thinks this, but im paying to hear Jon sing the song that he made famous with his vocals. Richie has a GREAT voice and maybe next album they should write a song that he sings, but I'll Be There for you is a song that Jon should be singing, i agree it sounded great in osaka but i would rather hear jon sing it
