Richie. But it's very close for Jon. Richie gives the song SO much emotion at every show. At some shows Jon gives a little extra, and those times it's better than Richie. Of course Richies great back vocals is missed when he sings it, but David does a very good job. And the outro solo is amazing!

So I go for Richie!

JBJ. I may be in the minority here, but I actually want JBJ singing all songs. I'm at a BON JOVI show, I want the singer to sing. At the same time I have great memories of the past 3 tours (30 + shows for me) of Richie taking over the mic, but if I had a choice I'd pick JBJ.

I agree. Jon sang the songs on the record, therefore Jon should sing them live. I do like it when Richie took over and did Stranger in This Town, though. Either that or Ballad of Youth would be great for him to do. But it would most certainly fill the bathrooms and beer concessions.

I would have said Richie after the last couple tours because I thought he did a great job with it. But this tour I really thought Jon nailed it for the most part. So I'd go with Jon.

Your not because I agree. I want the lead singer to sing the songs too. I've only ever heard this at a Bon Jovi show where fans want another member to sing songs. Maybe because it's happened in the past with David and Richie each taking turns but when I go to a Bon Jovi show, I want Jon to sing the songs. If Richie happened to be the singer, then I would only want Richie to sing the songs.

Jon. I thought I'll Be There For You was one of the highlights each night of this tour. And I loved when Jon added the extra ad-libs near the end ("Baby if you want me to . . . "). I think he started that when Richie was gone, and then he continued with it through Europe. The Hard Rock Calling version was fantastic.

I'd have to say Jon, but honestly I wish this song would get a break for a while. It was played pretty much every night of the entire tour.

Jon for me. I'd sooner Richie sing one of his solo tracks instead.

Jon, without any doubt.

everybody, check the Detroit 2001 ( night 1 ) version of I'll be there.

Possibly best version EVER. tops even 1989 performances.
