Default IMPORTANT Neumünster-concert moved to Kiel

Hello there,

I just talked to the Ostseehalle in Kiel. It is decided now that the Neumünster-concert has moved to Kiel into the Ostseehalle. It is an indoor-show though.

The sale for NMS must be more than poor. I asked how many people would fit into the venue and the guy said as many as tickets are already sold and some more.

yours
Christine

Do you have any idea of a cheap hotel/hostel near the Ostseehalle?

No, sorry, I don't know. I have a brother-in-law in Kiel and don't need a hotel.

By the way in a newspaper article stood that they are maybe thinking of an acoustic gig in Kiel. But this just stood in an article, nothing is official and decided.

It's already posted in the news section over at bj.com. They've got an article in German there which explains why the concert has moved. I think it says it's because of logistical reasons, but I can't translate it now. It says it'll be posted in English at bj.com tomorrow anyway.

Yes, the official reason are logistical problems. But the real reason is poor ticket sale. In Neumünster would have fit more than 100.000 people on the field, into the Ostseehalle fits 14.000 people and the guy on the phone said that there are even tickets left that you can buy for Kiel. They haven't sold more than 10.000 tickets for Neumünster.

It really is, I can't believe that ticket sales would be that low in Germany. They have always drawn large crowds over there!

I think Neumünster is not really a place where lots of people would travel to. If they had done a show in Berlin, i think it would have sold out
