Default In looking at the setlists..

Has anyone noticed that the band has been (compared to recent tours) focussing mainly on the 80's? Obviouslly, there aren't usually more than two or three 90's songs, but they also seem to be dropping the Post-2000 stuff a bit. Besides LH songs (which are a given since this is the LH Tour) the only staples seem to be IML, HAND, and Who Says'. I'm not saying this is a good thing, nor am I saying it's a bad thing. I'm just throwing it out there.

Nah, they did that pretty much on the HAND-tour as well. For example, when I saw them in Stuttgart last year, they played seven out of the ten songs on Slippery.
That was ****ing brilliant.

I just find it interesting that Jon often says that they (he?) doesn't want to become a nostalgic act. Yet, considering the depth of their catalogue they continually play "the hits".

Yes, you have to expect a band of their longevity to play certain songs, but every tour at least half of the set is made up of the same hits.

I think they really need to consider changing things up more.

No, I complained because you complained about songs like BTBMB, Medicine, and Bad Name. Those songs are always going to be played.

I might be in the minority, but I think BTBMB is one that doesn't have to be played every single show.

I'll take BTMB every show.
I think Runaway is a bit tired.

Maybe in the USA, where Born To Be My Baby was a big hit. Here in Europe it wasn't at all. It goes over well here, but every single released in the nineties was bigger than Born To Be My Baby was. Besides that, they dropped it on the 1995 and 1996 tours.

And it might be hard to believe for you, but Dry County was a bigger hit in the UK than Bad Medicine was.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Runaway is a little tired, yeah. Otherwise I don't mind them playing plenty of 80s stuff.

Although there are certain songs I'd give up for something off the two 90s albums. The odd different 00s song would be cool (Undivided? Dirty Little Secret?) but yeah I like the sets so far.
