Well yeah, back to my original point where I would probably complain if I had the opportunity to see the band in proper concert mode at all in the last 5 years. But considering there have only been a couple of half assed shows on these shores in that time(for which you have generously offered your condolences(thank you)) I wont complain.

You're welcome as you guys are only able to see a half assed show without fire where old classics are destroyed and memories of great times are torn to pieces!
Not to mention the greedy ticket prices.

You know you have David Lee Roth in your avatar, right?

I would have killed for a VH ticket! They still deliver the old classics and DLR sounds better than in his heyday. Hope the will come to Europe (what I doubt).
After the horrible LH tour in 2008 Europe needs some ROCK played hard to the max.

He wishes they all could be California Girls...but he is only getting 4 washed up Jersey Boys, one baldy dude from Philly, and 3 wannabe muso's that belong in a country club line dancing band?

I'd be p'ed off too :P

I brought up Van Halen because of your ticket prices statement, since you know VH's are more expensive than Jovi's.

loving this thread because thanks to me putting him on my ignore list I can't see a thing born_to_run says! Makes his existence to me utterly pointless. awesome.

PS setlists ok but could be better - the story of BJ since 1996.

Would love to see 'I'd Die for You', 'Wild is the Wind', 'I Believe', 'This Aint a Love Song' back as staples. Not much to ask for then.

Enjoyed the fact that they played 'Mystery Train' a couple of times - even though I don't like it. How weird is that?

Oddly enough, completely congruous with what his existence actually is: pointless.

Anyways glad to see the setlists are picking up, let's hope they don't dip down after this leg of the tour. I wouldn't mind hearing LH in it's entirely; it would be a unique experience, especially since the second half of the show is filled with some pretty good shit. I never, ever expected to see the real Blaze of Glory ever again. And from what it sounds like Jon didn't sound half bad at all. To be honest, his voice sounds like it's been steadily improving on this tour as well. Good stuff, let's hope it continues to curve upward into spring and summer. And hopefully less 80's/lesser 00 tracks and more from the middle decade.
