Aloha !

What he says is true, however, I wonder if he won't give up on this idea just because most Americans won't dig the unknown songs. He stopped playing the full Lost Highway album because most crowds didn't appreciate it, so he could think the same of the album tracks.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Yeah Seb there's only one problem, it was Lost Highway. Shit even the diehards wouldn't want to hesr it in its entirety. I think they know Slippery would be a different story especially because it's the one album that most casual fans have.

That's true but just look at how succesful Lost Highway was; many people had bought that one as well, and I reckon as many people know an album cut like Seat Next To You just as well as (It's Hard) Letting You Go or even Let It Rock.

You also make a true point in that Lost Highway was more "successful" than most would think. However, I think the average casual fan would rather hear something like Let It Rock (as long as it doesn't sound awful) than a song like Seat Next To You even though they might know it.

Besides, I don't think out of all the Lost Highway tracks, it would be one of the ones to stick considering it is weak and it wasn't played that much on the LH tour. I could only see it getting played like it was last tour on the anniversary of Richie's fathers death since it was written with him in mind.
