the pic with the band looks it was taken from what the "circleside" seats... that's not that far, is it?

I honestly like their stage positions. It really gives balance throughout the stage while highlighting Richie and Jon as the frontmen. Let's face it, give Hugh all the love....but he is a bass player, not a performer, and meant to be up at the top with Bobby as the backing band.

It was different with Alec. He was a showman and rounded out the brotherhood. There's a reason his position has been deemed reserved in stone. This is actually the first time I'm seeing them set the stage up as they should have from the moment Alec was gone. Having Bobby there allows for them to balance the stage out more naturally that way so they could finally do it.

Well, the stage design looks kinda nice but I am against Hugh behind Richie. Hugh has been a part of this band for 15 years. Why shall they put him back now and leave half the stage empty just to build up Jons ego a little more ?

David is on the right side now though !

They have maintained Alec's position is irreplaceable. It's a form of respect to a fallen brother who went through hell with the rest of them. Hugh has always been part of the hired backing band while having a revered spot in the greater whole of the organization that is not as public to the fans. Leave it be.

Build up Jon's ego? The spotlight is on him and Richie just as it always has been. Hugh has always been this invisible guy that may as well be playing off stage where you don't see him at all. Really, he's just taking up space on the front stage.

Argue it being about Jon's ego when Richie is back there with Hugh.

Well, left of Jon at Hughs old place is hardly Richies place ? But anyway, I'm leaving that now. But I'm NOT happy with the new palces !

You actually think having Hugh and Bobby on the same side was better?

Yes ! But David, Tico and Bobby weren't up front as Richie, Jon and Hugh. Now is it totally empty on the front of the left side. But this is just my opinion. Everybody is free to like what they like !

I think that stage design is fantastic. I am impressed. Just as I thought the light effects look a lot better in arena compared to stadium show. Now I can’t wait for the show that I am going to even more
