That's what I always felt is the reason for Hugh not becoming an official member. And if it is that is a good thing in my book. After all, he doesn't seem uncomfortable.

It was different with Alec. He was a showman and rounded out the brotherhood. There's a reason his position has been deemed reserved in stone. This is actually the first time I'm seeing them set the stage up as they should have from the moment Alec was gone. Having Bobby there allows for them to balance the stage out more naturally that way so they could finally do it.
You are right at some points but I can't agree with you in some opinions.

If Hugh is just a "backing band" why he was not placed in the back in 1994? Why was he at the place for bassist for 16 years?? I'd understand it from the very beginning.
The problem is that he had some position which he is losing now. At the time from Crush to boxset, he was in videos, he was shown with the rest of the guys in the booklet. And now, there is change. He is mentioned between some sounf engineers in the TC booklet, he put to the back on the stage. That is something I don't understand and I really don't like it.

I know the great majority of people here don't care about him. And this majority would look at me like I was some fool. I can live with that. He did a great job through the years for Bon Jovi.

I blame Bandiera for this change for Hugh. If he wasn't there at all, Hugh would be at his right place. Moreover, Jon probably feels, that Hugh and Bandiera are in the same cathegory, so he put him the back. I still see the huge difference between Hugh and Bandiera. Hugh plays on their records. A band needs a bass played. A band does not need a second guitarist.

All normal band have their lead guitarist on one side and the bassist on the other side, sometimes with the rhythm guitarist. So yes, I think it would be better to have Bandiera in the front along with Hugh. As it was during the HaND tour. It is normal that the members who move around are in the front, while the ones who can't move with their instruments are in the back.

I'd understand it a little more if Jon and Richie were in the front. But it is not that way. Jon is in the front and Richie on his right and none on his left. That looks ridiculous. Someone said that there is more place for Jon to move. All of his moves are reduced to waving his hands and standing at the mic. He rather plays his acoustic to have reason not to move.

So there is no logical reason, no need to put Hugh to the back. Next tour it will be Richie and Jon would be in the front, alone, satisfied....

*sigh*

Yes, ego-crazed, lazy, evil Jon. Plays guitar so he doesn't have to work. Systematically relegating everyone to the back, Richie will be next. Ultimately they will all be under the stage except for Jon.

Well, no, he will be not that lenient with them. To put them under stage would be just an act of mercy on the part of this terrible ego-crazed Jon. He would simply make them go home. And he will be doing all the job on stage alone.

No Johny, we DO get what you're saying. Over and over again, we get it. We just don't think it matters in the same way that you do.

Sorry, I didn't want to bother you. I'm still surprised that all of you don't care. I've said enough. Now it is time to hope that the setlist will be good, even better that the Honolulu ones (which apart from the five rarities were not that special, but a good warm-up)
