The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I think there are some valid points in that article, however I also think that's making the shows out to be more of a disater than they actually were.
I'm also somewhat confused about the numbers:
Let's say he's right, and the Pru capacity was 160,000 for the 10 shows, and lets say they sold about 140,000 seats. Now, that comes out to 2000 empty seats a night.
No, I know there weren't 2000 empty seats any of the nights I went. So, this would mean that the weekday shows had to have had ALOT of empty seats, but haven't heard anything about that (and I'm sure if any of the shows were that empty it would've gotten on here) The only other thing I can think of is that the 160,000 number was counting suite boxes. Now, suite's are insanely expensive, and usually only sold to corporate sponsers, or to large (IE 30-40 people) groups, so if they're counted, it's done so unfairly.
Now, I'm not trying to defend Bon Jovi or their ticket prices, but more just raising some questions.

I don't care enough to read the whole article, but he's dead on about AEG not doing their homework with the $300+ tickets. Those rarely sell, and over 10 nights, gimme a ****ing break. Who do they think their fans are?

I think this article is dead on. I only bought a few nights in advance when they first went on sale. Then - and only after the shows actually started - did I pick up tickets for the rest of the nights. I also paid a fraction of the original price for those additional tickets. One night I got 2 tickets for $40.00. Many people can't do that with having to arrange transportation and hotel accomodations. I live locally so I could do that but I'll bet I am in the minority.

I made a comment when those prices first were announced that I wondered if the much higher price was going to be worth their longtime fans not going to as many shows as they used to. Apparently, others are asking the same question.

Aloha !

I wonder how long Jon will continue the bragging about doing 10 sell out shows there before some reporter mentions this and he will come up with a poor excuse.

So can we call this "embarrassing " - booking 10 nights a row and selling out not one of it ?! Even in their Hometown! Oh my!

You're not making any sense right now, you do realize that, right?

No why - booking ten nights and selling out not one of them is more than embarrassing!
