If it's not too windy acoustics on a field are much, much better compared to a stadium.

Aloha !

It's a shame of Dublin being so expensive. Flying to Dublin doesn't cost me that much, but booking a hotel and getting something to eat is almost as expensive as spending a weekend in Disneyland.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

If I fly to Dublin I might as well do some sightseeing, is there a lot to see in Kildare or will I end up in Dublin anyway?

Sebastiaan

On the assumption that this is true, am very disappointed in the choice of venue. Why? Apart from the obvious (ie it's a big field in Co Kildare miles from the bright lights of Dublin), it probably means I won't be going. 'Big field' venues like this will almost certainly be standing only, and since my wife has back problems that prevent her from standing any length of time, it's just not an option for us (even if there's a GC area, there's still no seats).

Remember, the press release never said that the show would be in Dublin. It only ever mentioned 'Ireland'.
