Default Is Goo Goo Doll the opening act or they are....

I have a stupid question..

Last week me and one of my co worker were talking about Bon Jovi. He said that Bon Jovi are touring with Goo Goo Dolls this spring. So I told him that they are not touring with them... they are just an opening act. But My co worker keep saying that Bon Jovi and GGD are touring together and they will both play for same time in shows. Then yesterday I was listening radio. DJ said that Bon Jovi and Goo-Goo dolls are teaming up for their next tours.

Now I am afraid that Goo Goo dolls are not just opening act but they gonna play as much as Bon Jovi will. Cause if you see, GGD are huge these days, they will take their time on stage to get more fans. It means Bon Jovi will play for like hour and half. and GGD will also play for hour and half. I hope its not true. I want a FULL Jovi show. I dont care about opening acts. All i want is my Jovi.

Do you guys know that if Goo Goo Dolls are an opening act like SR-71 were on last tour or GGD are teaming with Jovi and will play for a full show. I hope its not true.

I don't know how long the GGD will play.

But two years back in Zurich, where Gotthard was support band who are very big in Switzerland played more than 1 1/2 hours so it could be that the GGD will play longer than an "oridinary" support band, too.

No, the Goos are the opening band, it's not a double bill. I wouldn't expect them to play any longer than most of the other opening bands have.

only about 50 minutes i think - i've got a few boots anyway and that's how long they lasted...

which is amazing when you think about it - van halen for god's sake!!

i'd have loved to have seen 95 tour in UK, but alas was 1 year too late...

I will take almost a full hour just for the Goos to play only their singles. I think they may get a little longer than the average opening act, but I don't think they'll do a full set.

Hardly a full set from the GGD as they ARE the opening act, it's not a double bill concert.

Default The Goo's as an opening Act

During the past year the GGD's have been out on the road supporting the new album. Their set lists have been approx. 95 min per show. My guess will be that they play 60 - 75 min as the "opening act" during the BJ tour.

Default re: the goo's as an opening act

Why can't we just be happy we get to see two great bands in one night??? I think the goo goo dolls deserve to have a long show......because they are not an opening act. And maybe GGD will win over some BJ fans and BJ will win some GGD fans....it will work out for everyone!! Im just excited to have the chance to go

Are they coming to Europe too. I heard we'll be getting Ronan Keating but please tell me otherwise.
