Same thing with me. My biggest complaint about the Twickenham shows isn't the setlists - even though I expected them to be a lot better - but the fact that Jon didn't seem as passionate as I know he can be. Especially night two.
That said, I still can't believe that they're playing songs like Captain Crash (my God), In These Arms, I'll Be There For You (Richie), Who Says You Can't Go Home and Born To Be My Baby both nights. And as far as I'm concerned, Always could've been swapped for either Bed Of Roses or Livin' In Sin one of the nights. Or Never Say Goodbye, electric version, for that matter. I expected more variation.
However, when you decide to end the big European tour finale with I Love This Town and ****ing Twist & Shout, no performance in the world can save you.
