Is it ALL about setlists?

You see, in that case I could see setlists being important - I've only ever done one gig per tour so it's always a delight when I get to see them play again, no matter what they play.

Jade, I'm sorry I didn't meet you. I love your excitement. Hopefully, next tour.

I for one am glad to see you acknowledging the screens and lighting. The crew guys that put that stuff together and make it go work very hard. And I think, the lighting and video have been fantastic this tour.

Nah, just remember I had 10 all local for me, in New Jersey, lol! I personally place a lot of weight on the atmopshere and performance versus the set list.

what did you think of the atmosphere and performance on friday/saturday Deb? I was in the GC and it didnt seem very 'autopiloty' to me

As you can see from my signature I've been going to see Bon Jovi for a long time so the setlists have become an important part of my enjoyment, after all, there is only a limited amount of times you can hear Jon say "I wanna know.................Is there a Doctor in the house?" before you start to feel its all a little formuliac.

(FYI it happened to me somewhere on the 'Faith' tour!!!)

HOWEVER : Whilst I didn't think the Coventry show last week (which was my only one on this tour) was anything special set list wise, the view from the GC was so good and the band, I thought, played so well and seemed to enjoy themselves more than in recent years, that I came away from the gig feeling blissfully happy - even though the only two rare songs we got 'Make A Memory' and 'These Days' I had seen before and wouldn't really class them as rarities compared to lots of stuff that got played this tour.

So there. I have contradicted myself.

I didn't think so either. I thought the band had fantastic energy both nights. And the crowds both nights were very loud.
