i also think that no song should have a save spot in the set list- i hate best of shows and they're doing them ever since. if you only have hit after hit after hit the hits lose their power and it gets lame. and i also think that they should do something for the die hard fans and not just for the "first time goers"... beg for a change to come this tour...

The way I see it, to keep the casual fans happy, the setlist should probably always contain at leat 3-5 of the following:

Prayer
Wanted
Bad Name
It's My Life
Keep The Faith

And thats it. Nothing else at all really needs to be sacred

Aloha !

They probably think that stuff like Runaway and "rare" songs like Raise Your Hands are stuff the die hards appreciate.

If I had to name a single song that I'd want on every set, it'd be Wanted Dead Or Alive, I just don't get tired of it as a song and I think it comes up very well live, but just my opinion.

I also think that Runaway should be played more regularly than it is, it's an awesome song, it comes up fairly well live (from what I can tell from bootlegs, taped shows, never actually witnessed it live, personally) and one that got the band's name out there in the first place.

But yeah, just my opinion.
In These Arms must be played in every concert. I must hear it live!

Prayer and Wanted should be absolute musts for every show. I'd say Have A Nice Day is quickly following into that category. They seem to have finally figured out how to play that one live to the point where it's almost sounding better live then on the album.

I'd also go for Saturday Night. That's always been a favourite of mine but the way the played it in Dublin '03 just blew my head off. I can't really rememeber what Jon was singing but he elongated it to almost 10 minutes and it was incredible.

Something To Believe In is probably the best live song they have but I'm not sure Jonny's voice is up to it anymore. Quit the fags dipshit!

I've always believed they should do at least 1 song off of every album.

Talking

This is what I think:
*Prayer HAS to be played. It's not fair for the people that go for the first time not to hear this one live.
*Wanted. Their anthem.. Should I say something else?
*One of the singles of the respective Tour CD. Example: HAND, WSYCGH, WTWYA.

Then:

*At least two of these: Keep The Faith, These Days, Bad Medicine, Runaway, Blood on Blood, Someday, Always. I don't care if jon can or can't nail these songs. They are songs that everybody knows and are so important in their career that they should play it anyway.
