Default It's Alright!

even though the song has some dislikers, 'who says you cant go home' is a popular song for all fans. newbies and diehards alike. it is a good live song as it gets the crowd going. but according to my sources (setlist.fm) it has been played 157 times in 2010/2011 shows. which is probably why people dislike it now. seeing all the stat threads i thought id take it apon myself to add up all the figures for this song...Alright?

this is a difficult stat to find as the song varies each show and it is hard to calculate all the S'Alright's in a video. im trying to find roughly how many Its Alrights have been heard throught the circle tour.

*This data is very hard to get accurate the exact number is almost impossible to find but this is using an average from 6 shows...3 in 2010 and 3 from 2011

The 6 Shows used and the number of Its Alrights were

24-3-2010 - 71*
21-4-2010 - 66*
11-9-2010 - 68*

9-2-2011 - 71*
24-6-2011 - 75*
10-7-2011 - 106*

* roughly!!
the more shows viewed the accurate the final figure but 6x6mins of that many its alrights is enough for me...anyone want to do more feel free. now for the number part

71+66+68+71+75+106 / 6 = 76.17

so on average It's Alright is said about 76 times per show. (for the lyric to be counted, Jon must say it first for the response to be counted..if Jon says 'What' and the crowd say ' Its Alright' It doesnt count. otherwise my pen would of run out by the amount of times!

If Who Says is played in tonights final show (Lisbon - 31/7/2011) it would of been played 158 times.

76 * 158 = 12008!! thats a lot of S'Alrights!

Take it as you wish..it is far from accurate but it gives a good idea of the amount it is said!

I don't mind the song, and if he kept the ending a bit shorter I'd enjoy it much as I enjoy captain crash, but it drags on so damn long... you can feel everyone around you getting tired of it by the end. that ain't how it should be at a rock show!

Well yes, its like Crash, its a good fun song but it doesn't deserve to be played at 90%/100% of shows.

If both songs were staples for their respective tours and then rotated out a bit more there would have been a lot more love for them.

Way too much free time on your hands there boyo!

But im not totally loving the song to be honest. Probably - with the good point you make - is that it is overplayed. But so is Prayer, Medicine, Bad Name, Born to be my baby...etc...maybe people on here wouldn't moan so much about setlists if these "gimmie's" were maybe pulled in favour of other former "gimmie's" such as Die for you, Runaway, Blaze, Bounce, OWN but to name a few...

Uhm, there would probably be a riot if Prayer wasn't played

maybe but if it was replaced by something really good the die hards would appreciate it more...the only people that would go mad are the ones that only know that and wanted

No they could play rare songs all night but Prayer is still a must.
I just wish JBJ would look like he enjoyed every song as much as he enjoys(and thinks everyone else is enjoying) Who Says with that big grin like he,s written the greatest live song ever. Hate it with a passion!
