Continuing the off topic...This Jon still exist?

And it was two years ago...

Why is everyone so keen on the two of them getting back together? Aren't you sick of them after the last 14 years of non-stop touring and sub-mediocre records?

I am much more excited about potential solo stuff. Especially collaborations like the ones Richie seems to do now. And who knows - Jon might as well focus on doing a singer/songwriter type record with some proper lyrics and decent melodies. Certainly that's the right direction for him.

Also - am really hoping that Richie hits the European festival circus. If Slash just goes and plays 2nd or 3rd slots on bills like High Voltage - why wouldn't Richie do that? Especially the smaller gigs, I think he could even get the 'Special Guest' slots. Say - play before Aerosmith at Hell Fest for example? Might be a little late for that but still!

Agreed. Especially the lick in Wanted - how can you mess that one up? He might have not played a double-neck recently and that might cause it. Yet he totally makes it up with the solo. One of my favourite versions I've seen him do in recent years - very rough tone, punchier than usual.

Don't agree about Orianthi's stage presence though. Not sure about this gig - but I saw her without knowing anything about her or who she was. Left the Alice Cooper gig asking who the guitarist chick was. Yes - having a woman do most lead played a role. Yet she was awesome all along - her body language, attitude, jams with the other guys...etc etc etc.

How so? We're in the thread for people who want to talk about it. Wouldn't the person that doesn't care be in the minority?

Dont be stupid. I love Bon Jovi. Just cannot stand Richie at the moment, bailing on all of us and then has the audacity to fuck about with these stupid shows. Takes the absolute piss. Its like he's saying "screw all of you. I'll bail on you, then come out afterwards and tease you with what you could have had".

Prize dickhead

Come on - you're not seriously trying to be rational with someone like that guy. Give me a break, it's probably more useful to try talking a tree into giving up photosynthesis and becoming carnivorous.

On topic, I keep on listening to this - and yes, at times it's sloppy - but this reminds me of why I became a fan of this band in the first place. Especially Wanted with Midnight Rider. Having the extra electric guitar during the acoustic part makes it sound grittier. Not to mention that it actually has the heaviness of what it's supposed to sound. Honestly, I can't wait to see this at dawn at some festival stage going into a 3min outro guitar battle. Uhh...the thought of it
