Japan Concert (in english?)

I have never been to any concert overseas. I was thinking, do you think everyone that goes to these BJ concerts in Japan can speak and understand english? Do you know if somehow BJ's music at these concerts are translated into Japanese? On cable they have a soap opera channel that translates these american shows to the spanish language. I know this is probably a dumb question but I am curious.

I think there are alot of fans from other countires where the only English they know is Bon Jovi lyrics. Or I have read where people have learned/taught themself English from listening to Bon Jovi. As far as concerts I would guess there is no translation. After all music is a universal language.

However I have been to a few concerts where there has been someone signing the words in sign language (not Bon Jovi though)

I am an American living in Tokyo and I went to both concerts this past weekend. The vast majority of the Japanese who attended do understand a lot of English. They might not be able to speak well and they don't understand most of the slang phrases or play on words that JBJ uses, but they do understand enough of the lyrics to catch the general meaning of the songs. During the second concert JBJ asked the crowd for a show of hands of who also went to the first concert and about 15-20% of the crowd raised their hands. He asked a few other questions throughout the night and each time the crowd gave an appropriate response. Generally the chorus lines to Bon Jovi songs are fairly simplistic, catchy and clearly enunciated by JBJ. I think this is one reason Japanese love Bon Jovi. When Bon Jovi songs are played on the radio or are karaoked it is always in English. Nothing at the concert was translated into Japanese.

Hello!!!Here I am!!!!!I'm from Italy and I had to learn English to understand Bon Jovi's songs and interviews.I couldn't speak or uderstand English before Bon Jovi fell into my life but after that i've learnt it and now i'm pretty good!!!
I'm so proud of it,they've taught me all I know!!!!
