Japan Setlists Question

No they weren't. That's just the propaganda bonjovi.com and Jon and co. do. I had a Japanese girl in class 2 years ago and she used to be a big fan. She said Bon Jovi aren't as popular as they claim they are, and their popularity has waned a lot since Bounce was released.

well - i guess the bounce thing qualifies your statement - from my pre-bounce knowledge there were pretty huge over there...

but yeah if it sticks at 2 shows...wow....big change in my opinion....

that's true ...they pretended they were still very popular for several tours now but for years already the japan tour was overly optimistic ... many fans don't understand though why the band keep playing tokyo dome instead of smaller venues in different cities ... instead of playing regular arenas in osaka nagoya tokyo and yokohama they decided that 'ego' wise it was better to play tokyo dome only twice ... IMO they are wrong

for years my japanese friends tell me the dome is not at all sold out but still they insist to play there only

this said they are still POPULAR enough to sell out smaller venues almost yearly just for their fans but it is not satisfying the band ego imo

cool - thx for that - im very surprised - but that bodes well if i do make this trip i can prob get tix night of show if i have to...though that would be a big reach...
