I'd call that a very safe set. I'd go as far as naming Japan the biggest letdown of the entire TC/GH Tour.
Yeah, japan has been a letdown last tours. Don't really know why since they always got awesome shows.

I remember in the HAND tour that he attemped a terrible terrible These Days in sapporo. Japan used to push them like Europe or maybe sometimes more.

Australia is the new Japan, they're not only doing more gigs there but doing better setlists. I'm pretty sure the Australian shows will be the highlight of this tour.

It's definitely the most standard of sets for The Circle tour but I would say by no means is that a bad set (aside from HAND missing)...in retrospect I don't quite know how people were so upset at the setlists on that tour. That's actually quite a solid set. No rarities, I understand.

I'd call that a very safe set. I'd go as far as naming Japan the biggest letdown of the entire TC/GH Tour.

Japan was an isolated set list. But in the first 6 months of touring, they were good set list, with good rotations.

Played songs as Only Lonely, Roulette, Get Ready, Shot Throught The Heart, Tokyo Road, Homebound Train (Richie), Just Older, I Believe, Thorn In My Side, Dry County, Die for You, Something To Believe In, Wild Is The Wind, Wild In The Streets, These Days, Lie to Me, It's Hard, Any Other Day, Damned, Bullet, Garageland, Hey God, I Got The Girl, No Apologies, Blaze of Glory, Living in Sin, Let it Rock, The Radio, Story of My Life and many more.

In addition acoustic set; Something For The Pain, Squeezebox, Love for Sale, Miss Four July, Santa Fe, Diamond Ring, Never say Goodbye....

There were a lot of covers; RoadHouse Blues, Turn The Page, Old Time Rock, It's The End Of The World, Paint it Black, Vertigo, Rock you like a Hurricane, Bad Case Of Loving You, Rocking all Over....

Even changed the opener; Blood on Blood, Raise Your Hands, Happy Now, Lost Highway, Not Fade Away, Last Man Standing....

In TC Tour everything was possible.

This song should have been usual in the shows.

Yes, it was terrible, just as most of Jon's vocals after Washington on that tour. But that was the tour premiere. The same for Diamond Ring, and Misunderstood.

Add I'd die for you, I want to be loved (played seldom even on its album tour), and you have a great show by 2006 standards. Even I think it was the first show on that tour with no TLFR interlude.

And just one show after, Dry County was dusted off!
