Less than ten years ago Jon would've sounded stellar on this song, but here (as well as everywhere else nowadays) his voice lacks all the qualities it used to have - range, power, resonance, energy. It sounds like an average karaoke performance and the playing of the band has no real oomph, either.

If I'm honest I actually quite enjoyed that. My worry is that if he's singing from his throat and shouting he's only doing more damage. Any heavy rock /metal singer will tell you how bad it can get with poor technique
