Default JBJ on Dave Bryan making a mistake during a sound check in Australia.

Sorry if this has been posted previously, but I haven't seen it before.

General comment response is that he was only joking.... which I suppose he was... kind of.

He was joking there, but it's no secret that he's a bit hard on the guys for little mistakes.

EDIT: 3000, yay!

I didn't think he was joking, but I don't think he was angry. He was just stating a fact. As he says, he wants everyone's attitude to be to go out thinking "it will be the best night you ever did or the last night you ever going to do it." Does *he* always live up to that? No, but I bet he beats himself up over it. Given the time, money and hassle involved on the part of the audience, that is the right attitude for the band to have. Bon Jovi is known to be hard working--they don't just stroll out on stage, pick up their instruments and start singing. What shocks me are the times that they don't apparently sound check before a concert. The audience has a right to complain if the sound is off or the mistakes start piling up.

Is it that boring here that we need to overanalyze an obvious joke?

Yeah, I've seen that before. It was very tongue in cheek but it's common knowledge that mistakes really get to him, be they his own or someone elses (particularly someone elses!).

Just paving the way for Jeff Kazee to take over the role of keyboard player. Clearly, Dave has been on a slippery slope.

I remember something from the WWWB documentary that Dave said that he wasn't 100% happy with the way things were run at Bon Jovi or something. Don't remember the exact phrase, it's 1:45AM on Sunday morning.

Well I thought it was Elton John (we all know Elton John and Jon are very close, right? )
