oh yeah - and one more thing. Dont preach about how Work for the working man is hypocritical because JBJ is rich. I've read you saying this in previous posts too. Cant someone who is a multi-millionnaire write a song about current issues? Has JBJ been spoon-fed success and wealth? Do your homework, idiot.

LOL I was just on stumbleapon, and this came up. I immediatly thought of our good friends Nikolai, RDkopper and Tictoc... A number of points work. I feel like I'll be posting this a lot.

If only I could highlight these points:

Attacking regulars in a group
Making themselves the savior of the group
Trying to impress others with their knowledge.

Queue for 10 hours? Nope, apart from Hyde Park, I didnt go into the venue until about an hour before the gig started, hung out with friends and had the odd beer. Saw some fantastic places like BArcelona, Lisbon, Dublin etc. Aslong as i'm somewhere in the pit (and the circle stage came in handy) I'm fine with that. I've been upfront before and got the pictures.

Identical shows? Um I heard 7 different songs from these days, countless others, I actually got very lucky with the shows I went to. Plus I was every one with some great friends, so no. even through Captain crash for the 8th time and my 789 "saright" alot of fun was had ,thanks!

Why would you be bored at 8 Bon Jovi concerts, you love every song don't you? You're the one who needs a free bar to enjoy a BJ show!

As for them making money, I get that part. What I don't get is the need for all these packages, its a rock concert not a holiday. If you wanna put VIP shite on then give them a box somewhere and don't let it effect the atmosphere. I was a FC member for almost ten years until Matt just totally took the piss. No I don't wanna go on holiday to Hawaii for 4 days with backstagers for the bargain price of $3000, I don't wanna take home the chair I sit in or take a picture of the toilet Jon uses back stage.

I assume you were taking the piss when you replied about the 50k tickets for this show, but seriously, when you chip in with "i'll pay whatever" thats music to their ears.

C'mon, stop trying to justify that you've spent way more than the cost of a DC ticket on 8 shows being at the back. Big wow. 7 different songs from a potential choice of approx 150 songs over 8 concerts...mmm....not much of a variety. The shows are identical - except for the odd song here and there. Fact.

I was with great friends in Manchester and went into the circle 1 hour before the show. And I've pretty much nailed all the cities that you've been to on this tour - but not seeing Bon Jovi. You've spent masses and masses on tickets - way more than a DC member. The fact is I work 55 hours a week, have 4 weeks holiday a year (if you're really interested) and the "Average Joe" can only afford out of their working year one Bon Jovi show. Thus, i will make it the best ever and get the best place in the venue. And putting VIP in a box somewhere? It would have to be miles away from the stage...thus you're paying a lot of money to be far away. Doesn't make sense. I will say though that the whole Golden/DC thing is poor. What was wrong with the good old days of the 90s of "first come first served", wait around for 10 hours and be dying for a piss, feet killing by 8pm...fact is I would love that system back. It wont happen, but people are willing to pay to be at the front. Its wrong of you to ridicule people for that.

Most sensible thing you've said yet haha. I was wrong in bringing you into it in this topic - its the system I get annoyed with. I actually have come to like the GC now, the ticket prices arent THAT much more than a GA (still think its overpriced though). Ideally we'd just have a GC, stick the VIPs in there if they must and use the FC membership to get early entry. They would still make plenty of money this way and you wouldnt have two seperate pits.

I would love to see BJ in a small venue with the chance of getting afull setlist for the diehards, I can just imagine that prices would be off the scale.

BTW I only get 5 weeks holiday a year but only took around 2 weeks off in total for all the shows I did.

They played 112 songs over the tour, as much as I complain about them at times, thats not bad going. They finished the tour on a high.

Ipso facto ergo sum (to quote The Office), different drinks for different needs i suppose. Everyone is different. Which is why these chat boards can be so volatile. Everyone wants a different thing from a Bon Jovi show and its impossible please everyone. It would be impossible to put on a show solely for the diehards because the non-diehards would go. I suppose the JBJ show in Sayreville in 2009 was the nearest to that with a crackin setlist.

Agreed, we are realistic though. Lisbon + Barcelona were the perfect show that pleased the diehards and casuals, great performance and setlist. I guess those kind of shows make all the travelling, money spent etc, worthwhile.
