Thanks!

If they include the executive & other suites in those price tickets ($375) then prices aren't really that high.
But normally these tickets aren't for regular sales but as the site is promoting them so much, maybe they are...

Funny, cause I was thinking the same.

$375 isn't alot for a concert ticket????

Hmmmm...tough choice. Go to 1 concert for 2.5 hours, or take my wife on a week long cruise.

I love Bon Jovi, but **** them - $375 for a ticket is insulting. Makes me sick. Jon and his little "we're giving back to the fans for 'keeping the faith' all these years."

Yeah, right.

I can't believe people are defending the fact that it's a new arena. Who gives a shit? You wanna play 10 shows, go play at Continental. Christ, at least then, more of us could go.

I love Bon Jovi's music, but I'm starting to dislike Jon more and more. His bitching about touring, his arrogant remarks about it being him who makes all the decisions, and now this corporate bullshit ripoff.

I like to live in a fairy tale Jon can do no wrong world too, but face it guys - He's taking advantage of all of us with this new arena stint. If he gave 2 flippin' shits about his fans and appreciated what we've all done for him over the years, he would have told the Pru and it's promoters to stick the $375 tickets up their ass and gone over to East Rutherford and played there for $50 a ticket.

$61,50 for normal seating is also normal price, hell if I convert it to Euros its also cheap. I paid that price for ****ing Andre van Duin (who? yeah exactly)

Not sure who you referring to, but if those $ 375 is for the exclusive suite then it normal price, better then its even cheap.

Dan,
I know you are mad about the price but I think we need to wait until the pre-sale to get the details on what is what. The range is a bit bizarre at $61.50 to $337.74. For all we know, that top price could be for some sort of suite or package not for just a seat.

Yeah, I guess that's possible. I don't know. I think it takes a lot of balls for any act to charge that much for a ticket. Not just concerts, but sporting events, etc. I hate these goddamned promoters. These entertainers make a disgusting amount of money, and they still feel as though they need to rape us over the coals. I think what did it for me was seeing that article with Jon saying how he hates touring, then seeing these slap-in-the-face ticket prices.

I'll give you an analogy, granted, not apples to apples, but an analogy nevertheless:

My 2 favorite groups: Bon Jovi & The Goo Goo Dolls

Bon Jovi, granted have just been playing one-off gigs so far, but the setlists have been the same old same old, and they're charging all but unaffordable amounts of money for tickets.

Goo Goo Dolls - Going to see them in July with Lifehouse. The tickets were $25 each, and the Goos are GUARENTEEING a different set list every night and allowing the fans to vote on the songs they play on their website.

Well, the high end price may well turn out to be for the floor seats. But, if these shows don't sell out the prices will drop. To me the set list is not the end all be all to a show and I actually think for these promo shows that the set lists aren't too bad. The new songs make up for some of the songs that need to go like Sleep When I'm Dead.

As far as Jon's quote about touring. Did you read the entire thing (this is a translation from the article):

You have now all a family, a life fully luxury. Are you still up to go on tour and live out of a suitcase?

"I hate it. Until I am arrived in the first hotel. They must drag me my house out: with my nails over the the drive way and the limo in to the airport. once i am granted that we must tour again, i ease myself, and i even enjoy it again, but until that time… I (curses) hate it! The Eric Claptons and Elvis Coxtello’s of this world live to tour. Springsteen, another one, he loves it. I found the life was on the road perhaps nicely when i was twenty and had to no house to go to. Now I have other priorities."

Plus, Jon's been saying this I want to say since the TD tour.

I do think it's cool the Goos are having fans decide the set list. However, I will say, they needed to do something. Their shows on the last leg of their tour were averaging around 80 minutes and they were playing to much smaller audiences.

I'm in a very different position than you when it comes to disposable income as I'm single and don't have a family to consider. I can afford to pay more for things like concert tickets. And again for me, I'll take the cheap seats versus not being there at all but that's easy for me to say because I live 40 minutes away and don't have to consider any other expenses.

I'm really hoping that this price structure won't be indicative of the tour, but we shall see.

Well right now i am thinking about going to the first two shows, the 25th and 26th but who i am going with, how i am getting there, where to stay, are all big questions....

I've got to somehow get to at least one show before the next full blown tour....

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I agree with Danfan. The tix are insane. Who the hell has $375 dollars to spend on concerts? I was shocked to see the Calgary and Edmonton shows were listed for around $169-$179.
