Why the hell would it be a Cross Road tour when it was more than a year since that Greatest Hits album and they already had a new studio album out - from which they played more songs than they ever played from Keep The Faith on its tour?!
All I know for sure is that the Asian tour of spring '95 was called Cross Roads To The East tour. They played one or two songs from TD at that time and it was definitely touring with Cross Road. The summer in Europe: I don't know if that tour had any specific name, at least I haven't ever heard it, but I've always thought that it was for Cross Road... or both with These Days - they were promoting both and it really doesn't have to be that specific as they had two hot albums out at the same time. But in the autumn they were definitely touring with These Days.

I think you're right. It seems unreal to start These Days tour an year after its releasing. Those concerts in 1996 were just another leg of the tour, they had a different setlist.
When you take a look at Crush tour - the Japanese and European concerts had a different setlist than the the US leg the same year. And this structure they kept for OWN tour. But OWN tour could be also called Crush tour - Jon calls it like that (eg his speech before NSG in the last concert in Giants)
Back to TD tour - When you watch the Wembley official concert - there appears a sign "These Days" on the screen during the waiting for an encore.
But what is really interesting about the Johannesburg concert is that there isn't Rockin' In The Free World on the list. On the OWN booklet is written that the song included on the cd was recorded on 1st December 1995 in Johannesburg...
There were two nights in Johnnesburg. First one on 30th November. From that show are known those songs (these are the songs included on official stuff, aren't they?
Helter Skelter
Rocking In The Free World
These Days
(It's Hard) Letting You Go
And the setlist of the second night (1st December 1995) is following:
Helter Skelter
Livin' On A Prayer
You Give Love A Bad Name
Keep The Faith
These Days
Bed Of Roses
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
Something For The Pain
Blood Money
Blaze Of Glory
Lay Your Hands On Me
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Bad Medicine
Shout
This Ain't A Love Song
(It's Hard) Letting You Go
Hey God
But there isn't Wanted, what's kinda suspicious...
