Really? I'm in no position to argue as I'm not exactly fanatical over the band and thus am not sure of the dates of various tours, but I do know that I have never seen the band because I and them have never been in the same country at the same time. If the These Days tour was in 96 surely they would have hit London where I was from October 95 to October 97? And I always thought the Live in London video was from the These Days Tour which took place prior to me reaching London.

Huuh the Live from London was shot in June 95 and was part of the crossroad tour.

Not sure but the crossroad tour was bigger then the TD tour

No.

And this is not the actual set list but a guess at what was played based on the other shows played in South Africa. I can't see 'Letting you go' & 'Bed of roses' being played together.

Wasn't this the only official show and the other more of a promo???

Anyway there a 2 different boots around with different songs and if I remember correctly they added up more then 17 songs all togheter.
But maybe they were from the seperate shows (wich I never realized up to now)

Complete setlists are not known of any of the four South African concerts of '95. None of the shows were bootlegged and during the last 10 years I haven't heard of any person or place that would have definitive information of said concerts. One Johannesburg concert was televised but they didn't show the full show, so we don't know the complete setlist. I'm pretty damn sure that they must have played "Hey God" as the second song and more encores than just "Wanted" and "This Ain't A Love Song", but, no-one knows for sure.

Also, the whole year of 1995 wasn't a Cross Road tour. I've understood that it became the These Days tour after the album was released in the summer - in autumn they played 7 songs off These Days live and sold These Days merchandise at concerts and promoted the album on TV etc. so it was definitely a These Days tour then. In 1996 it was the second These Days tour.

Maybe these SA shows weren't really part of any tour but sort of inbetween tours. The TD tour had a marching band as intro and then LYHOM. The set list looks more like Cross Roads tour to me.

The 4 South African concerts were part of the regular tour just like all other shows, and the band WERE promoting These Days in the autumn of 1995. The interviews, the TV performances and whatnot they did at that time, it was all for promoting These Days. Why the hell would it be a Cross Road tour when it was more than a year since that Greatest Hits album and they already had a new studio album out - from which they played more songs than they ever played from Keep The Faith on its tour?!

All I know for sure is that the Asian tour of spring '95 was called Cross Roads To The East tour. They played one or two songs from TD at that time and it was definitely touring with Cross Road. The summer in Europe: I don't know if that tour had any specific name, at least I haven't ever heard it, but I've always thought that it was for Cross Road... or both with These Days - they were promoting both and it really doesn't have to be that specific as they had two hot albums out at the same time. But in the autumn they were definitely touring with These Days.

I think you're right. It seems unreal to start These Days tour an year after its releasing. Those concerts in 1996 were just another leg of the tour, they had a different setlist.

When you take a look at Crush tour - the Japanese and European concerts had a different setlist than the the US leg the same year. And this structure they kept for OWN tour. But OWN tour could be also called Crush tour - Jon calls it like that (eg his speech before NSG in the last concert in Giants)

Back to TD tour - When you watch the Wembley official concert - there appears a sign "These Days" on the screen during the waiting for an encore.

But what is really interesting about the Johannesburg concert is that there isn't Rockin' In The Free World on the list. On the OWN booklet is written that the song included on the cd was recorded on 1st December 1995 in Johannesburg...

There were two nights in Johnnesburg. First one on 30th November. From that show are known those songs (these are the songs included on official stuff, aren't they?

Helter Skelter
Rocking In The Free World
These Days
(It's Hard) Letting You Go

And the setlist of the second night (1st December 1995) is following:

Helter Skelter
Livin' On A Prayer
You Give Love A Bad Name
Keep The Faith
These Days
Bed Of Roses
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
Something For The Pain
Blood Money
Blaze Of Glory
Lay Your Hands On Me
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Bad Medicine
Shout
This Ain't A Love Song
(It's Hard) Letting You Go
Hey God

But there isn't Wanted, what's kinda suspicious...
